Bianchi Virata identification help

I'm a newbie so can't post pics yet. So I'll do my best to describe my bike in words. I am not familiar with all of bike anatomy, lol, so might be some laughs for ya in my words.
Here's what I got:
  • Celeste- body color
  • Handle bar wrap color- Celeste
  • Brake hood color- White
  • Bianchi sticker- centered on the Down Tube
  • Virata sticker- on the sides of the Top Tube right behind the Head Tube
  • Bianchi Virata sticker colors- Letters are a Neon Melon color that is outlined in black. Then centered behind the middle of the letters is a graphic blue line (Egyptian Blue)
  • Top Tube- top side is a sticker with a blue B with a melon ribbon across the "B" that says "SUPERSET II" under the "B" it says "TANGE*CRO*MO*, under that "DOUBLE BUTTED", above the "B" is a crown, arched above the crown "PRESTIGE"
  • HS067543 (I found this stamped under a bracket on the bottom of the bike. There also is a "4" stamped in the same area but down in the bottom left corner, away from the other stamped letters/#'s)
  • Crankset- (stamped "FC-6400", stamped under that -is not clear so guessing- ?"VIA"? "JAPAN". Then next to those "167.5 NH" is stamped
  • ??Rear Derailluer- Shimano 600
  • Seat Tube- on the front side is two stickers stacked vertically (top sticker is a metallic blue w/metallic silver lettering that says "GRAND PERFORMANCE" and has a Lion icon in the top right corner. bottom sticker is black with a gold outline and gold letters "PRESTIGE" and white letter under "CR-MO" under that white "DOUBLE BUTTED TUBES" under that white- I think- "TANGE"
  • Handle Bars (left side of stem bar "SAKAE"?? under that "MODOLO PATENT" under that "Anatomic bend") (right side of stem bar "FX" under that "JAPAN"
  • Front Brake- SHIMANO 600
  • Pedals- DIMENSION
  • Seat- Mongoose
  • Head Tube- front side is a sticker of a blue ?Eagle? with melon ribbon across that says "BIANCHI" and above that is a small sticker that says "MADE IN JAPAN"
  • Tire- "ROUBIAX" "700x23/25c" "anti-flat technology "ELITE", number "32111044" and letters "SPECIALIZED" and a triangle followed by "T.W.I."
  • Tire pressure- 100-125 PSI

Any information of year and value would be great. Pics will be posted as soon as I am able. THANK YOU TO ALL

The serial number indicates that you Virata's frame was manufactured in Japan, during August 1990. That is in the gray region where it could be either a 1990 or 1991 model. However, it was not offered in celeste in 1990, so it should be a 1991 model. At that time, it was 2nd from the top in a 6 model road bicycle line. The MSRP was $950 US.

Current value is highly dependent on cosmetic condition, mechanical condition and locale. Most members will not offer a valuation without photographs to assess the condition. You can post photographs prior to having 10 posts. Ignore the forum warning. They will upload to a gallery album under your user name, where members can view them.
