Sure, But if you are buying, do you have the pile of parts to complete? Despite being "worth it", it may not be a good deal for YOU. Missing pieces: grips, handlebar, tires, tubes, pedals, seat, cables, are not cheap. And what's there probably needs service. Can I see the shifters hanging loose?

Pieces of bikes are best suited for someone who has a complete bike that has frame damage, or is the wrong size. If that is you, and you have the time/tools/aptitude to do the swap, sure. Once you pay a shop, forget it.

Your market may be different. In my market, I am still finding nice complete vintage MTBs for just a little more.

Trek 900 series Singletracks are one of my all time favorite bikes. That one does come with the rigid fork, which many are missing (never came w/ originally, having instead a front shock).

That being said, it looks like there is a ding in the top tube and it is going to need some work. The ding would bother me a bit, but if it doesn't bother you, that is a great color. Good luck and if you grab it take some detailed pictures, including when you get it road worthy!
