I have just completed an 82 Peugeot PFN10 restoration. I've been trying to upload photos and I can't even put them into my gallery. I'm under the 10 post rule so I'm kind of lost. I've been working on this for a few months and this is my first attempt at a restoration and I am open to any input, negative or positive. I am still waiting on the Mavic rim decals and Atex stem decal. I need help loading the photos before anything else though. This forum has helped tremendously as being new to this attention to derail and the amount of research it has taken.

I believe you go to "my Profile" under the icon with your screen name in top right.
Then "pictures and albums" from the left column.
Then "Create album" and put photos in
Then we can post you photos for you until you get 10 posts.

Welcome to the forums and very nice work! I own a mid 80s Peugeot PSN10 but am far from a Peugeot historian. Are you looking for a valuation? My guess is it will be lower than what you invested in this restoration so maybe best not to think about it and just enjoy the ride!

Since you asked for feedback on the build, I notice a few things in the pic. Brake cables are typically routed and crossed behind the stem. The brake levers extend below the bar drops. Typical placement is even with the drops or a smidge higher for comfort (but not too high). Front quick release is on the wrong side. Lastly, I’d like to see matching tires on such a nice build.

I hope it rides as nice as it looks!

Thank you. That's exactly what I was looking for..a genuine opinion, I do not take it as criticism in any negative way. Researching and building this bike has been a great learning experience. I wasn't in it for the money at all, just a fun project.. idle hands are the devils playground. I am waiting on Michelin Dynamics right now. Thank you for the info on the lever position. I was unsure about lining up the bottom of the drop bars with the top tube, in line together, then installing the bottom point of the levers parallel with that and then taping, if that makes sense. That was the procedure I found to be standard. Is that correct?

Nice start for a first build as basic rule thumb if this helps on this style vintage stuff should be level strait or a bit slanted forward. I would suggest trying raising the seat a bit and lowering the stem a bit and turning the bars up a bit. Also if can get a freewheel puller that is correct pull clean the freewheel and loose the broken dork disk and check the rear wheel true alignment it looks a bit off even in pics

I was looking into the cable routing and in the catalog it shows that this is the correct orientation for the cables. I'm working on readjusting levers, seat and bars, I'm not a fan of tapping bars so I've been procrastinating and tires I have now, just need to be installed. Thank you for the input it's much appreciated. Ido want to sell it though so i may post it on the classifieds here.
