Newport Ferrari tandem?
Listed on CL for $50. It has very low end Shimano components, a 6 speed freewheel. It will definately need a new chain, cables, brake pads and an overhaul. Would it be worth fixing it up to flip? I'm not sure how well tandem bikes sell here in Salem. I assume it wouldn't be worth much and probably not worth the time and effort.

tandems are a tough sell
it helps somewhat if one is located in a resort or retirement community
one downside is the space they take up; you may find yourself tripping/climbing over the thing and uttering those syllables which cannot go out over the airwaves...
hello to Salem, one o' me fave towns

tip:
in case you get it and later put it up for sale remember to spell the name correctly in any listings you post

Short answer: no.
Longer answer: hell no.
Longest answer: Tandem flips are difficult, and they tend to take MORE time to refurbish than regular bikes. On parts, you will need double the saddles, pedals, grips, much longer chain, much longer cables.
Not only do you need to find customers that want a tandem (small group), but also a pair where both fit the bike (rarer still). Nearly impossible to ship.
Flipping bikes has gotten harder. Flipping tandems has always been hard.
Everyone needs to attempt to flip a tandem one time. Then they will understand.

Given that in many parts of the USA you can find a decent quality older tandem made by Santana, Burley, or Trek for $300-$400 with a much better made frame and far better components I'd say absolutely NOT! This one is pretty low-end.

Next year I will be trying to sell two tandems, a Burley and a Gilmour. Not looking forward to it.
