'85 Trek 620 Thoughts

Going to check out this 620 today. It's missing the OG Sachs rear mech and rack but looks to be in decent running shape based on the seller's listing. Not sure the wheels are original either which may not be a bad thing. They are asking $400, I'm hoping they've got some wiggle room on the price. Not a flip but looking to for a fun winter project to ride on some brevets... assuming I like the fit. I'm 6'1 with short legs and a long reach... What do you think?
Doh, I'm too much of a newb here to post pics/links so here's a broken pointer to the ad... ttps://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/7551636794.html
Thanks in advance...

Given it has been for sale for 12 days, there should be some wiggle room. XT RD is an upgrade IMO. Price is at the high end, but its SF (hot market). Looks more like a 53 to me.

6-1? My guess is it is way too small. More like 5-8 territory.

Thanks for the keen eye, taking my measuring tape to double check.

If it fits and looks well cared for I would get it for that price. It would be a very comfortable riding bike since it is a touring bike which means the geometry is longer than the racing 660 was. I have a 84 660, loved the ride actually despite it being such a tight geometry, I have to deflate the rear tire then smash it up against the seat tube just to get it off the bike!
\Like others said, I would negotiate on the price

This one is a 1985 bike really nice frame as said likely a bit small. The price is on the high side considering it has mixed components and Mailard helicomatic 5 speed wheel set can't really get any parts for these so if you need to replace something or want to upgrade your looking at getting a whole different wheel set and likely re-spacing the rear. Figuring this in I would want to get the bike for around $300.

Thanks everyone. The 56cm frame was in great shape but just a hair on the small side for me. The hunt continues... tomorrow I'm checking out a clean looking '82 Team Fuji. Somebody put riser bars on it but that's easy to overlook/fix especially for the $50 asking price. Hopefully it's a 58, the seller doesn't know.
