Help with Bianchi Record? Unknown year, value, etc

From a friend who is liquidating an Estate.
I need some help on this one and would greatly appreciate it. Looks like an older bike and I canít find the exact model/year anywhere, or at least internet pictures similar to what i have.

Condition is complete but fair. Hairline/spiderweb cracks in paint. Chrome pitting. Decals partially gone, etc.

Have a look at the photos and tell me what you think a fair value is for this bike and perhaps a model name/year. The seat says Record on it buts thatís about all I know.

serial number on front #1L21174

What a beautiful vintage Bianchi. Wouldn’t surprise me if it were from circa 1960. Others here can help narrow it down.

early seventies

the forum has had a number of discussion threads on the Record model of this era

yes, Record is the correct model name

it is a model name which had a lengthy production life

if you wish you can use the search function to bring them up

value estimate: as it sits 80$

Water bottle might bring $50 on ebay though!

I would agree the Valantino shifters and general lesser quality of the bike place it as early 70's boom era bike. Pretty rough shape as is I would say $100-150 depending on market.

That's what I was thinking. The water bottle may be worth more than the bike.

I would agree the water bottle with nice vintage clamp on cage is likely worth more than the bike.
