Raleigh RRA original paint serial 68576
Hi I was wondering if anyone out there could shed some light on this Raleigh RRA frame and what I assume is the original fork but I知 not positive on that. Can anyone tell me what year it is and an approximate value? Thanks!

What a beautiful example in pretty nice condition given the age. I'll post this from Sheldon Brown's website, which describes a Raleigh Record Ace from the 1930s. The fork appears to be similar. No reason to suspect a replacement unless or until more info confirms it.

If I find anything else helpful I'll post it.
Good luck!
Edit: Found this one for sale. Includes another serial number that might prove helpful.

This is a page from a 1938 catalog, found through Kurt Kaminer's information found currently on: :https://www.jaysmarine.com/TH_raleigh_cat_70_80.html

From what I found they changed to the riveted head badge in 1937 and with the serial
starting with and ending with a 6 I think 1936 is a safe bet. I知 still having a hard time putting a value on it though.

This frame is rare and valuable but I suspect that most of the members of this site do not have much experience in pricing bikes like this. I'd take a look at sold listings on UK eBay to get a ballpark number for the frame.
Lovely frame and good luck with the sale.
