1990? Cannondale 3.0- SR400? value
I wasn't looking for this but I found it in a pawn shop today. It's a 1990's blue and white two tone1990s Cannondale 3.0. It looks to be the SR400 with Shimano RX100 group set. The bike is all stock and the condition is 9 out of 10. The pawn shop was asking $699 and will let it go for $570. I was expecting a lower price of around $400 tops out the door. Are these vintage Cannondale going for this much money? Thanks for any input. THIS IS NOT THE BIKE, this is for the example only.

Anything with an RX100 group would not be worth anywhere near their asking price, and the $570 would be about twice what I would pay for it if it were in great condition.

yes. Pretty much
I love seeing cordless drills at pawn shops that look like they have been drag down a gravel road that are priced within 85% of new prices.

I would say about about $300-350 tops you see this level Canondale's going for $200-300 in good condition fairly often in most markets. It seems there are a lot of them out there that haven't been road much for sale. From what I have seen pawn shops are some of the worst places to buy or sell a bike. Out of the couple of hundred bikes that have passed through my hands over the years only one came out of a pawn shop and I got it at huge discount price from a friend that was working at the shop at the time.

I don’t recall that color scheme for a SR400 - but my Cannondale knowledge is limited
edit: it’s a 90 SR400 Criterium

I have a 91 SR400 (pictured above) - the bike out the door was somewhere around $500 ? (which I thought was a good price considering a 3.0 frame alone cost close to that amount ?)
If I were to rebuild my 91 SR400 with OEM RX100 components - or even 105 or 600 level - I don’t believe it would sell for $400
