NOS 1985 Bianchi F+F model unknown
I have a NOS 1985 Bianchi frameset. The bb is stamped on the bottom, 337 on one side and C56 on the other. Any help would be appreciated and I値l upload all the pics i can.

There's at least one link to 1985, if you're sure on the dating. I've never seen a Bianchi from the 1980's that was sold as a bare frame.
I'm sure it's possible, but all I've ever seen from the '80's were sold as complete bikes. Bare frames usually came from other Italian makers. in my somewhat limited experience.

I haven稚 been able to find just a frame and fork in any of the scans either and trust me I致e been looking. The bb shell has 85 cast into so I think calling it 1985 is a safe bet.

That one is one of the better of the models of its day. I say because it has chrome, stay and forks and it has the fd braze on. I had a lower end of that color Cromor or Matrix tubing this was.

The frame looks very good condition yet I wouldn't consider it NOS. Does look to have been a complete bike at some point that someone tore down without riding much or at all kinda interesting.

It is in great condition and whether it is NOS with shop wear or previously built really doesn't matter much in my opinion. I also like the color. I know Celeste is all the rage but this color really pops in my opinion.
Regarding value, all I can say is the seller will likely get less than I think it is worth.

Might have been one of the frames Bianchi kept in stock for warranty replacements and later sold off when newer frame models were introduced.

It's a pretty good one, IYAM.....
The only thing missing on the Bianchi fan checklist is the Celeste color.
But it doesn't hurt to be different from the crowd, once in a while....

I see no need to polish the chrome in that area. The brakes, when installed ,would render that area of the fork invisible. I doubt that was considered defective, and I certainly don't.

I致e been through all the catalogs and other scans I can find online and can稚 find anything exactly matching this set. Is it possible that it was some sort of team frame or something? I致e heard Bianchigirll is the authority on this stuff how do we send the beacon out to her lol.

While near perfect and likely %100 original IMHO the robins egg blue is bit unique I can't really say I have seen this paint on another bike.

If built, I would have expected the cable to have removed some of the paint in the guides of the BB shell.
The HS looks like Super Record.

I知 having a hardtime parting with this one. I think I might just look at it for awhile before I sell it but something like this definitely needs to find its way back on the road. I値l get some better pics this afternoon when I get home.

Wag guess I would say there were less than 1000 of these frames made and maybe 100 so made it there way to US bike dealers.

Honestly, this might be the coolest 80s Bianchi I have ever seen.

Is it around 53cm? Bianchis are tough to estimate. The head tubes are longer for their sizes...
