Late 80's Fuji Sundance value inquiry
Hi,
I bought a Fuji Sundance new back in 1988 or 89 and would like to see how much it is worth but can't find anything using the serial #: f3125066. I have updated the: grips, saddle, tires, handlebar, shift and brake housings and cables, both tubes and rim strips. It has not been ridden or even outdoors since this tuneup and restoration. Any help would be great. Wish I could post a picture, she's a beauty, but I can't since this is my first post.

I'd put the value between $150-$200 in my market, mainly due to the tune up and new consumables. Those handlebars will not be for everybody.

I appreciate your response but I still don't get what you are saying. It's the same style mountain bike handlebar that was on the original, only better. Why would someone not like it? Are you saying that updating in general reduced the value?

Handlebar doesn't affect value. It's like a red car, some like it, some don't care and some avoid it. It's not as neutral as a white car.
I'd raise the saddle and tilt the bars flat for ad photos if trying to sell. Again, making it look less personalized.

Thank you! I hadn't realized that a kind person posted my photo so I did not know what you were referring to :-). I am not interested in selling due to the sentimental value but was very curious if it was worth anything.

When you post it for sale, put the seatpost up higher. Might attract a larger audience.
