What do you want to know? it is an 88 here is it's cataloug page https://waterfordbikes.com/SchwinnCa...0/1988_06.html here os the specs page it was going to be named Avlon some legal trouble and it was named Ontare. It helps us to know why you are asking. Do you want to buy it to ride? Do you already own it and wish to sell? Do you want to buy it as a flip candidate?
I always admired this model for its construction and the colors, but would never purchase one. This one has some issues with the paint which would make it a pass in my book, if I was interested. Just too much damage and not easy to fix without resorting to a full repaint.
This bike uses a special seat post and they are not easily replaced. There are "work arounds", but again, for me it would be a negative at best and generally would be a deal-breaker.
