Sunrace gears are not original and would likely greatly lower the value of the bike.

.
...Atala is (was ?) a large manufacturer of bicycles in Italy. They sold (sell ?) a wide range of models.
The top ones are comparable with most other Italian manufacturers, but I'm not 100% sure that what you've given is the model name.

Without pictures I couldn't tell you much more. I have one here that is a higher end model (not the top), but I don't really know which model it is.

Looks mid level, does it have a tubing decal? Have a look in the fork tube, is there rifles?

"Favorite brakes" are likely to be Favorit brakes from Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic)

...I was just pointing out that the various model names used by Atala ran along the lines of "Professional", "Competition", etc.
There are some catalog links from the 1970's over here. The Champion of the World sticker is probably advertising.

Atala 1 - Atala 2 (1967, 1971, 1974, 1987) - Atala 3 (1971) / (1972) / (1974) / (1975)

I think mine might be a Competition, or a Corsa, but I don't care very much one way or the other.

namethmarci -

frequently when a cycle manufacturer has a racing success they will make up a transfer proclaiming it to place on all of their bicycles

this transfer may be employed throughout the product line and for a number of model years

it does not mean the name of the bicycle model
