80's Basso evaluation and model

I got today this Basso.
I am interested in what model is.
Is Campagnolo Super record equipped (I think).
Rear derailleur is marked '84.
I did not checked the crank set yet.
700C Mavic hubs on Araya rims.
Anybody knows the model?
As you can see in the picture the cable guide close to the seat is broken (has some rust, but looks more like un-welded).
I can use some 2 components adhesive and glue it, but I don't know if it is the best solution, because the bike being too small 50 cm will be listed for sale. What's your solution for this repair.
Also what should be the value of the bike? The paint as you see is nice, clean bike, a few small spots of rust on the chrome.
Thank you.

That’s a 1985 Basso Gap. Original paint. Reasonably rare size. Probably will get a bunch more parted out but for someone shorter stature that’s a great frame.

Mavic 550 hubs it looks like with those Araya rims (beautiful wheelset). Replaced SR hubs and some rims of a sort.

SL throughout. Sold as a frame.

Are those SR front derailleur and brakes?
I am not very sure about that.
And thank you for your earlier reply.

Not an expert on the brakes...but the front derailleur is SR, levers look like drilled super Record.

I am 80% sure those are SR calipers though.

I agree about it being Gap '84, maybe '85. The serial number will indicate. I think as a whole bike those came equipped with Campy Gran Sport.

I have that bike, I picked up as a rattle can basket case, and repainted.

Yours appears to have a taller stack headset than my '84 with the Gran Sport stack.

That was 4 years ago, this bike had the blue remains in the bb and the white panel paint which was a bear to strip, under the rattle can.

Here is the specs of blue remains

My 1987 had original paint flaking in a few spots on chrome. I am guessing the whole frame was chromed.

Ok e never been good at being able to tell Record from Super record brakes (is there a difference?) in the mid 80’s but all the other parts are Super Record (brake levers, crank, FD, RD. I have an ‘84 Gap and the rear dropouts are Campy. The first digit on the BB serial number is supposed to denote the year.

Value? Basso is an under appreciated marque and it seems like the market is sluggish right now. The Super Record bits have more value than the frame/fork. I’d like to say $800 for the whole bike, especially as I’m thinking about selling my Gap, but I think $600-650 is more realistic. Nice bike.
