Around my neck of the woods $50 to $100 at the beginning of the season, $25 now that winter is getting started in Alaska.

I like it a lot better with the OG fork. It is a solid bike with hubs instead of freewheels thus a standard 135mm butt. it should serve you well forever.

1995 model, I think.

Poor time of year to sell, however in the spring, in the WI/MN area..$200-$300(or more to the right person) depending on condition. Having both forks helps..a lot. Nice bike..my touring bike is a drop bar converted '93 970.

Nice bike!
I don't know your location, I am Cleveland and I am selling a lot of good bikes, on-line, on "that site", in October, November.
People are looking for good quality bikes, projects for winter.
This is a quality bike, not too many out there and I wouldn't sell it less than 300$.

Yeah, these higher end vintage mountain bikes are in increasing demand. For nostalgia's sake and gravel conversion, they are at least holding their value. Two forks is a nice bonus too. $300 sounds right to me.

I'm glad to see that prices are still holding in some places. Here in Alaska prices plummeted after COVID. It is a buyer's market.

Heck, if there are actually lots of bikes this caliber for $25 up north one could load up a truck and drive south and pay for the journey and then some through arbitrage.

For that matter, stripping the parts and flogging them on eBay would result in a healthy profit if bikes like this were $25

I'm almost glad that's not true where I am or I'd be drowning in good deals

It is a smaller and slow market but it can get that stupid. Heck here is my last $50 bike

Hunh. Do you by chance live in Humboldt County California? That exact bike has been hanging around CL here for over a year. I've regretfully passed on it due to finances and a preference for quill stems; it's a really nice bike. Oh, here's a link to find the 1995 catalog.

It's definitely a '95. From Vintage Trek:
990
89, black with magenta decals, also white with mint decals
90, black with white splash with white decals
91, black and conch with black decals on white and silver
92, red with black decals
95, ice root beer with sage decals
96 dry ice titanium with black outline decals
