Only needs tubes and tires!!! I love how she says no lowballs in the description. What is it really worth? $75? $100?

Lol. I messaged the seller with that exact same message! I then offered $125 which I thought was pretty generous and got turned down.

It is a cute bike, I would ride that.

I would not pay $100 for it. Maybe $50 and only because I have everything on hand to get it going again.

I see this sort of nonsense all the time. People asking absurd prices for a bike that they want to sell. And there are people, equally ignorant of actual value, who will actually pay absurd prices. I speak from personal experience. Would you pay me $1225 US for this entry level Raleigh Record..?

Someone did! By the way, I listed my Record on Ebay for $1. I then sat back to watch the bidding progress for the next seven days. Most of the way though day seven saw the bike at $180, as I recall. Five minutes later (just before the auction ended), the two bidders drove that price to $1225 US. I felt guilty...

However, again listed for $1 on Ebay, this Legnano frame, fork, bottom bracket and headset went out of my door for $37 US. You win some and you loose some. C'est la vie...

Were I in the market for a bike, I might go $75 US for the bike the OP presented. That said, I am pretty sure that the OP's bike would suck up another $100 to $150 (more if the bike is fitted with tubular rims - hard to tell in picture) to make road worthy and safe to ride. This one came to me for free...

...but set me back a few hundred CND to get it looking like this...
