Bennotto Modelo 800 Road bike 12 speed

For sale here locally at $40
Needs bars wrapped, a seat, a new chain, looks like brake cables need connected, and (I'm sure) a tune-up.
Whoa...After looking at the pic and listing all needed....I dunno...Opinions? Offer less?

Seems well worth $40 to me, as long as you know how to do your own work. Will probably need an overhaul, and check that the seatpost isnít stuck before buying.

+1 on checking the seat post and also check the stem it's set too high and could be stuck or damaged. Other wise not a bad deal at $40 if you know what your getting into it has way more than $40 worth of parts and the frame looks to be in pretty good shape with good point so not a bad starting point for a project bike or as parts bike purchase.

That one's a bit down the ladder but still a very nice bike, I'd be all over that at that price.

I don't recognize the brake levers, they look like they may be a converting to aero.

The brake levers look to be on of the late 80's SLR variants and are not original matching to the brakes should work fine ounce setup. But are pretty much worthless without the hoods.

Thanks for the info.Filed away in my mind for any future deals. Bike sold before seller responded to my questions.

It's more of a project than a bike but I agree if that was my size and the stema dn post move it would be in my garage now for that price.
