Model and Value on 1980s Peugeot...
Hi,
https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...045593246.html
I was wondering if anyone knew what model this Peugeot might be, or if the asking price is reasonable. Unfortunately, the picture posted isn't that great. I'm just looking for a decent road bike to do some casual bike trips around the city. Thanks for any help.

For the DC market, that bike should not last long at that price. Surprised it is not sold already. Not sure of the model, given the really lousy picture. Miamijim might be able to tell, he really knows his Peugeots. Regardless of the model, it is a buy, and should not last long enough for a bunch of people to weigh in on this thread.
You are going to need to be tall for that bike. Even though he says it is a 27 inch, I think he is confused, that is the wheel size. But the bike could be a 25 inch frame.
So if you need a large framed bike, I would get in your car and go buy it.

Thanks a lot for the info. I couldn't exactly tell from the picture the frame size, but I was afraid it was going to be really big. I'm just about 6 foot and I'm afraid it'll be too big, but maybe i'll swing by and check it out just in case.
