88? Guerciotti full Super Record
I just took possession of a Guerciotti in near mint condition. The original owner bought it in 88 but I say this model in the 85 brochure. Did they keep making the same frame for a few years or did this frame just take a few years before it was sold? This is a 56cm seat tube and I need a 59 to feel real comfortable so I'm going to try and trade it for an equally nice ride that is in my size. What would be a realistic value or a comparable bike that would make this a fair trade?

SR Italians on Ebay are ranging from a low of $675 to $1500. Yours is in superbe condition, I'd say $1000+ with a well written ad.

I agree. It's not panto, but it's very clean. I'd say $1000 is conservative, except for the fact that the economy has put a bit of a damper on sales. May not affect yours, though, given the condition and brand value.

The original owner said he rode it for about 20 miles and that's it, it went to the basement and there it sat for over 20 years. The guy also has a 69 Z28 with less than 30,000 miles. This guy just doesn't use his toys.
