1979 Vitage Ritchey Road Criterium Frame
Hey all -
I have a 19-inch 1979 vintage Ritchey Palo Alto Road criterium frame that I would like to get an appraisal on. Tom did not actually build the frame for me specifically, but he did give it to me for $500.00 in 1980. Unfortunatelly, it does not fit me well. I raced on it several times, but it was not a good fit. It does have some minor scratches from being moved from place to place over the years.
Tom pulled the frame off consignment out of the Bicycle Outfitter for me when I was 15. It kills me to even think about unloading it, but I don't have the space for it anymore.
I am getting some photos together and will put them up this weekend.
And no, I'm not going to ask $12,000 for it... I'd be floored if it was worth $1000.00...
Thanks!

Complete bike? I'd say $1000 wouldn't be far off, but pics will decide it. If you're in the Bay Area, prices will skew higher than average. So it wasn't a "production" Palo Alto frame made for the PA Bike Shop? Anything more "custom" or limited production is also going to increase the value.
