Botecchia with Campy

Columubs Allele tubing, smal frame, maybe a 48cm, some type of mid/entry level Campy. Sorry about the pics, its all I was sent.

Any idea on fair street price/ebay price?

5 ... at least it's not a mystery Bottecchia like so many are. Aelle's cool. Dep. on year it could have Mirage, Centaur or Veloce, OK too. Bottecchias came equipt in that level complete. You know 49's a good size

Judging from the color (very cool) and the shifters I would say Victory or Triomphe. offer 150 and see if she/he bites it does have weird "ringle'" looking skewers on it. and I can't tell if the brake levers are aero or not so it may not be a complete group of any one model

I meant to sell ... 3 to 5 depending.. I CAN see a non-savy/anxious to sell person selling for 150
Modern colors for a mid to late mid '80s bike to have the group Bianchigirll suggests.. could be.

Without getting into the boring details I managed a 'group purchase'. I acquired the Bottechia you see pictured, and a Litespeed Catalyst. The Litespeed has full 8-speed Dura Ace STI, a Chris King headset and Look carbon fork with Spinergy Rev-X wheels. The owners also threw in the original Litespeed wheels which have DA hubs and Mavic open 4CD rims that have NO brake wear.

The Bottechias an interesting bike, its a TSD (Ten Speed Drive) bike with an ecclectic mix of components. It has a NR headset, Triomphe looking cranks, shift levers and brakes, some type of cartridge BB, Shimano 105 derailleurs and Roval tubular wheels (good eye BG).

that is an odd mix. I can see taking a Vic/Trio bike and putting shimano RD and shifters but why did they change brakes derailleurs and leave the fric shifters? weird. someone may have bougt the frame and put their 'old' stuff on it. I did that a bunch of our team members when we were sponsered by TSD. too bad it isn't a bit bigger I always liked that color

I need to look into a little more but it does have an odd mix of components. I bought it from the original owner but dealt primarily with her husband so I didnt get all the details, I think the wheels were changed when it was new and the derailleurs were changed somewhere down the line. There is an inventory sticker on one of the brake levers so its possible it could have been built from a frameset. The friction shifters are a mystery to me as it has a Sachs index compatible freewheel with an index compatible derailleur. Why go through all that work and not change the shifters?

I originaly called about the husbands Litespeed and asked, "do you have anything else". One thing led to another and I bought both bikes and the spare wheels. It was a very gratifying purchase as both the husband and wife sell cars for a living.
