Hello, I just picked up this bike the other day and im wondering if its worth anything. Its in great condition, ive replaced the tires and tubes. Wheels are true, no rust anywhere on the bike. Shifts great, will get a new chain tomorow. Brake pads are orignal and barely used. The guy i bought it from got it from his friend before he left the country, and then it sat in his garage for years and he never road it. thanks

Definitely above the dept store bike level, but the 3 arm crank indicates it's not too far up the food chain. It does appear to have alloy rims, and that's a plus. It would be a good campus bike if you're near a college. There's lots I don't know about the bike to make a true eval, but I would say you should get $125 pretty easily, more in the right areas.

Ask for more(~$175) and see what kind of response you get. Play up the unique size and good condition. You can always relist it lower later, or take best offer.

That's not a 3-arm crank, that's a 5-pin crank and will take the same outer rings as TA Cyclotouriste and Stronglight 49, among others. You might get more than a few bucks for just the crank arms if you sell them separately and still get $125 or so for the rest of the bike if you have a spare crank you could pop onto it.

+1. You have a very nice touring bike in what appears to be very good shape. I'd say about 200- 250$, maybe more. It's got braze ons for racks, has a cool little front rack (Nitto?), good components, and is in a middling size 54 cm or so I think, but that is just a WAG.

cool, thanks guys. I might try listing it this weekend for 200, if it doesnt sell, then ill probably wait til summer to re-list it
