I think it's a supercourse. It definitely has a beautiful Brooks saddle and I think I'm looking at a lot of campy parts...I think it's a steal if I'm seeing the components on it correctly. Mafac brakes?

I also just happen to have a perfect front wheel for that bike...wolber tubular on a campy record hub.

There are many more conversant in Raleigh here than I, but I would say that for a scripted logo pre-73 with fancier lugs, decent paint, and a Brooks in good condition with an alloy rack - it has merit at that price. I'm guessing it is a GP - not a SC for lack of chrome on the rear stays.

Now, if you happen to have another wheel hanging from your rafters doing nothing...
(Still, sans front wheel, you should have substantial leverage in negotiating a good price.)

Ok...

Upon further review and looking at the second picture on the seller's ad, which made a few things clearer:

I am 90% sure that it is a Grand Prix: That second stay "bridge" that acts as a brake cable guide plus the cottered cranks, make it a Grand Prix.

$100 might be about right on the value (including the Brooks saddle and the rack) but that is a high tensile frame with pretty lugs. It will probably be around 30some lbs.

A Grand Prix with a brand new B.17 thrown out there in that mess of flips? If it weren't for the fact that the front wheels match on most of the others, I'd question whether these things are stolen - or not.

This guy is legid. He has been doing these CL postings for years. I am pretty sure that it is not stolen stuff. Just finds... And I respectfully disagree about the saddle... That is a B-15 not a B-17
