Bianchi Premio - What Year?

I found this on Craigslist for $200, told my girlfriend I wanted to go look at it and - lo and behold - I ended up with it as a Christmas gift. I already know it's tiny, but what else can you tell me about it? I mainly want to know what year it is, but any extra stuff you can tell me is great.

(Also - I'm 6'0", and I like the feel of this tiny bike with the seatpost raised better than my raleigh technium that is actually "my size" and my dad's Bianchi Giro that is very close to being my size. Is this weird?)

Was it worth it? Need more/better pics?

Nice looking bike. it is a bit hard to tell the year from these dark pics. does it index shift? what model deraileurs? judginf from the nonaero brake cables and what little I can see of the decal style i will sat '85 to '87. a few brighter overall pics and more info on the derailleurs. why is the seat post so long? do you have it out past the Min Insert mark?

Yeah. I'm sorry about the dark pics. I took them very quickly on the way out the door headed to work.

Derailleurs: Suntour Cyclone (meant to post this pic too)

I didn't make note of the shifting when I was riding on Christmas day (brake cables need to be adjusted, so it wasn't safe to take a long ride), but I can update that on Monday.

Surprisingly the seat post is not past the mark. I haven't played with it much, so hopefully I won't have to let it out any more than it already is...if so, it may have to go back onto CL. It's placed where it is from the previous owner...whom I didn't get to meet.

I'll try to get some better pics over the weekend, but I'm in Nashville, and we're having inclement weather down here...doesn't make for good photography...maybe I'll just turn on a few more lights or something.

Those are the pre-AccuShift (New) Cyclone derailleurs. That makes 1984-1986, assuming they are OEM. Presence of a Piaggio decal above the logo on the seat tube would indicate a 1984 model. Serial number?

pagign through my catalogs the first Premio I see is the '86. it came in either Brilliant Black or Ice Blue. it came equipped with Suntour Cyclone Derailleurs w/ Spring shifters. Diacompe brakes. also it has the Tange DB frame with mangalloy fork.

I vote for '86

Update - No it does not have index shifting.

Is the color of this bike called Ice Blue though? In person, it looks more like a muted metallic Celeste-ish sort of color. I thought Ice Blue was the color that is more similar to a baby blue or a carolina blue? If it's not the Ice Blue color, would that rule it out as an '86?
