1983 Mountain Goat Deluxe
A friend wants to sell me his 1983 Mountain Goat Deluxe. I am not familiar at all with mountain bike prices and want to offer a fair price. Any ideas?

ask first flight cycles in statesville, nc. They have several mtn. goat bikes among their amazing collection of vintage mtn. bikes (and road bikes!)

a bike is worth what the seller can get for it. if it's worth $100 to you and he accepts - then that's what its worth. if you offer him more or if he names a counter offer and you accept - then that's what its worth. you may not even want a MTB and he may not even want to part with it for short money. don't let the bike come between friends

If memory serves, he was asking 10 grand a few weeks back. I came across that when looking for a cheap winter ride and my eyes did the oooogggahhhhh seen in animation.
