Bike is original except for saddle and still owned by original purchaser. It has been well maintained and actively ridden until about two years ago and stored indoors. It is in very good to excellent condition.

What's a fair price to pay for this bike as a rider (not flipper)?

Most people here are more knowledgeable than me, but I'll venture a guess of up to $250 if it's really clean, fits you, etc. The 210 was not a high end bike but by '86 it was very well equipped: triple butted chromoly frame, canti brakes, etc. And searching through here you'll find only favorable comments on Miyata build quality and value. https://www.miyatacatalogs.com/2007/1...alog-1986.html

+1 This time of year, $250 max. I have a 1987 215ST, nice bike IMHO. One advantage of the 215 is that it has indexed shifting. Mine is slightly upgraded with aero levers and Suntour indexed barcons.

I sold an '86 210M minus the leather saddle shown this past summer for $225 plus shipping.......it was in very good condition and the buying did not haggle with me one bit.
