As is about $150 (with that saddle). The shifters and the brake levers are low end components from other bikes. If you clean it up, add derailleurs, replace the shifters and the brake levers with more appropriate components, add tape, it could worth twice as much. Those are nice touring bikes and the small size is a plus. But it needs work and about $100 in materials to bring it back to life.

You'll need a derailleur hanger - there are a plethora of styles but this one might work.

There are many different derailleurs available also, and of course there are varying opinions on these. You need to be sure it is compatible with your freewheel gearing - (the range of gear teeth and length of the cage affect its reach) but you probably have a 5 or 6 speed freewheel, and there are many used Derauillers that would fit. My Raleigh Super Course has a Shimano light action derailleur and it shifts very nicely. You can get one very cheaply on eBay if you hit it right.

In fact, if you find one like THIS , it may be all you need.

In my market... $100-300. They are hard to find.

+1 to all the comments above. They make great bikes if you take all the crap off and put better components on. The frame is really nice. The crankset weighs about as much as the frame.

If it were all original with good paint/decals I would clean it up and keep it. (value around $300.00)
As is, I would strip the components off and make a nice touring bike. (value around $100.00)

I have 3 of them... I'm probably selling 2 when I get around to cleaning them up.
