Fair price for this Motobecane?
Hey all, looking at this 60's Motobecane. Paint is pretty rough. Simplex derailed. Not sure if it has pedals or what the tires are like.
Wondering if anyone has any details and what you guys think is a fair price in Canadian dollars.

Thanks guys and gals!

This is not a '60s bike. More likely an '80s bike. Very hard to tell by the picture, but it looks like it has turkey wing levels and schrader valves. These indicate mid/entry at best. Might have steel rims as well... Add the rough paint to this, and I would say no more than $100 (based on that postage stamp of a picture, which is not much).

I would aim higher. What is your plan for the bike? Its bottom end, paint is shot, and it has the typical french compatibility challenges.

My plan for the bike was to clean it up and use it as a commuter. If the paint was really horrible I was thinking of getting it re-painted and putting new decals on it...
I offered lower than the $200 asking price and he said he had a lot of emails about this bike and didnt think he needed to lower the price. He still says its a chrome frame...
I'm going to pass.
