Eisentraut 1975 A frame for $360?
(Re) paint issues, and model questions aside, I thought this would of gone for a bit more:

And did you notice at around the same time a 70's Raleigh Pro frame that was over $500 with some time left. Didnt check to see what it sold for. Crazy, how do you compare a Raleigh with an Eisentraut.

I was watching that. I have a 50 cm Eisentraut from that vintage set back for patti, and I thought it would be cool to have a set, but then I started adding the paint and decals in, and rapidly got cold feet. Nice to know someone got it reasonably, though.

Walk into any group of bicycle riders down at a gathering spot in the summer and ask for a show of hands of anyone who knows someone with a Raleigh now or in the past, then do the same with Eisentraut, guess which brand will be more known. Sometimes if the people who know the better brand are not in the bidding then good deals can be had. For people with money this is a good market.
And is the Cuda510 (sp?) seller of those two bikes active on the site here?

In the last few days another 70s Raleigh Pro frame went for $537, and a 3Rensho track frame went for $1325. Surely the Eisentraut track would be comparable?

Not a Model A, despite what the seller said.
And I agree with you on the track. I would have expected higher.

This is not a snippy question, it is to (hopefully) expand my knowledge.
How can you tell it is not a Model A? And if it isn't an A, what is it? A Limited? Not an Eisentraut?
Again, this is aserious question because I'm hopin to learn something. Thanks.

Models A's have fastback seatstays and obvious handwork/ lug thinning.
So this auction was a Limited.
I didn't have a clue, either, until this auction, but the CR list provided me with the ID. One fellow sent me some pictures of his A frame, but unfortunately I didn't save the pics on my computer & that email is gone.

I think its a Limited. I have one that I bought for my wife and the details of the
seatstays, seatlug etc. are exactly the same. Finish is good, but nothing special (i.e. lugs
not thinned very much). I paid $250 for her bike with mixed Campy gruppo (albeit a few
years ago), so that was a bit overpriced in my opinion.
The Track bike was a steal, it was easily worth $750 atmo.
