De Rosa Anniversary Frame Appraisal
Hello all I have a De Rosa 35th Anniversary Frame it was actually built in 1987 so it was the precursor to the 35th annviversary model. I would like to sell and would like to ask what a fair price to ask would be. It is missing the forks a I have had the frame since 1989 and built it up and rode it during the 90's. It has nicks and scratches in the paint. It is a 56cm frame is pearl white grey with blue pinstripes on the downtube. I looked at the De Rosa links and seen what the bike was originally built up with the only difference is mine does not have the red rose on the headtube. It is stamped #5 on the bottom bracket. It is constructed out of Columbus SLX tubing. The reason I am going to sell it is it is too big of a frame for me I fit a 54cm better and my sons are over 6ft and this frame is too small for them. I also feel its a shame to leave this piece of history stored in my garage and not let it be restored by someone who is passionate about it.

I can only see that one attached picture, but I see C-Record with delta brakes and an aero C-record stem from here (Cannot make out the other bits). Combine that with the SLX tubing and a common frame size and I would say easily 4 figures. You would get at least twice as much if you part it out, if maximizing profit is your motivation.

Let me work on getting the photos to show up. The complete bike shown is for reference of what it looked like when it was purchased in 1987. My pics are of the frame only.

Frame only? No fork? 2 bills....max. On a good day. On ebay. In spring. After the other 90% of the country finishes thawing out.

Still not loading... if you can see them and others cannot, it probably has something to do with setting up permissions about these photos at your photo hosting site... Try to make them "public" or whatever there, and they might appear here
