Value of Nuovo Record...
Hello,
I have acquired a set of Nuovo Record FD, RD and Shifters that I got for what I believe to have been a good deal off craigslist. I just want to make sure I didn't overpay due to my lack of knowledge about vintage italian components. The RD is marked Patent 72. What do you believe the value of these three components would be? Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks

Your best bet is to find these on ebay and watch the closing prices when they sell. Sample several and take an average.
I recently paid $40 for a Nuovo rear derailleur. I'd guess a front is worth $20 and shifters are worth another $20. But that's just my opinion.
I have a sentimental attachment to that set, even though they're pretty nearly obsolete. I have a set on one of my bikes. It's beautiful and sturdy.

I've found that prices on this have been dropping on ebay...at least when I'm selling. I sold a mixed NR/SR group and got 40 for the RD, 10 for the FD (SR) 25 for the NR levers, 55 for SR cranks (no dust cap), 55 for the NR calipers and 15 for the shifters. Threse were all in excellent shape although a lot newer than your group.
