Hi guys,
This is my bike, Peugeot PX-10. I dunno exact year but I guess this is either from 86 or 87.
Columbus SLX tubing, original components were mavic, now equipped with dura ace 8 speed group, dt shifter. How much you guys think this would be worth?
Thanks for any comment!!

Is the scraped up paint on the top tube the full extent of paint damage? Is there any other frame damage or dents?

I would put some new bar tape on it, yellow or white.

That is actually decal that is scraped. There are a few small paint nicks. No dent no structural damage on the frame... Yes it has white tape :) I like the match of blue frame and white tape...

Probably an '87....whats the serial number? I have a few major price killing issues with the bike as it sits.

1. The seat. Brooks saddles are too cliche. Dump it and put some type of 'Turbo' style saddle on it.
2. Mismatched tires. Sorry, high end bikes need matching tires and matching wheels.
3. Missing dust caps on the cranks. It may seem like I'm nit-picking but lack of caps makes me wonder what else is missing.
4. There's alot of wear on it.

That being said, if you fix the items mentioned, you'll find that full Dura Ace bikes start in the $450 range and go from there. To be honest, the economy and time of year are boat anchoring bike prices.

Thanks for pointing out. The serial number is 858X16. X is hidden by the cable guide...
Do you think san marco rolls will go well with it too?
