Basso for sale
How much should I sell a Basso frame and forks, all shimano dura-ace components except for chinelli handlebars and stem, Richey rims. It's on consignment at the shop where I bought my fixed gear bike. Any suggestions. The frame is somewhere between a 1995 and 2002 I think. Don't know. I bought it from a 75 year old guy who bought it to compete in the senior olympics road racing. He broke his hip and had to cut down to 75 miles per week.

It's probably earlier than that. Looks like DA 7402 with a 7 sp freewheel, which implies 126mm spacing. Late 80s early 90s I suspect. Nice bike and small size is a plus.

What tubing is the frame made out of?

Nice! Where are you located? 'Cause that will be a major factor in what you can get for it. Though if your town has a fixie shop that narrows it down some.

there's one owned by a woman in my 'hood with almost the same paint scheme: "mustard and plum" but no white on hers. Not my favorite paint, but she loves the bike! Can't remember if it's SL or SLX tubing...next time I see her I'll ask.
