A pair of unused Cinelli SLX frames

This is kind of unusual, but true. About 20 years ago, while traveling in Europe on business and when my daughter and I were into bikes, I sought out the actual Cinelli factory store in Italy (Milano, I think) and ordered an SLX road frame for me (57 in classic steel blue) and one for my daughter (53, I think, in pearl white). Months later, when the frames were finished, I arranged another business trip back to Italy so that I could pick up the frames from the same location. Then I carried both on the plane (carefully wrapped, of course) and returned home to the US.

My daughter's frame was never built up with components, though there is a Record bike set set aside for it. Mine was built with Record parts about 5-6 years ago, but never ridden. In fact it never had a seat post installed. I kept hoping that I would find a Cinelli saddle, but didn't... before I just forgot about it.

With the passage of time, things have changed and we don't have the same attachment to the Cinelli's that we once did.

So, the question is, "how and where do I move these on to the next caretaker, and what is an appropriate value?"

Thanks

Jim

To get any kind of valuation you are going to have to post some nice photos of each bike. You're likely to get the highest dollar amount selling them on eBay. But it is likely you'll have to ship them, too.

(the black mark on the seat stay in the close-up of the Columbus decal, wiped off. must have been assy lube.)
