Rossin Record?
I have a shot at a Rossin Record NIB from about 82. All I know is it's got Campy components, tubular wheels, pantographing on crank and seat tube, some "R" on frame. Black paint, chrome fork.
I'm the first of over 12 emails and the seller has bumped the price $200, though he may come down. Pictures to follow when I get them.
It's a 3.5 hour round trip.

Buy that quickly if it's still available. As a general rule for my self, if it has chrome chain and seat stays and a chrome fork, it's almost always worth at least $300

I estimate the value well, well above $300. BTW, it isn't NIB unless there is a box it comes new in.

Oh I wasn't saying it was worth only $300. My point was that as soon as I see chrome stays and fork on the same bike you know it's worth a tidy sum

Ok, not NIB but the owner claims his Dad never rode it but brought it back from Italy. His uncle is supposed to have been a world class cyclist. I was a bit miffed that the owner kept bumping the price after setting it and delaying until the trip would be a late night event. My enthusiasm waned more when I found the bike wasn't even close to my size. The owner "may" call back but given the bike and local market he probably will find a buyer for tonight.
