pre-1960 Nottingham Hercules 3 speed
I have a Hercules 3 speed which I restored. The headbadge says it was manufactured in Nottingham, England. I learned subsequently that in or around 1960, Hercules production was taken over by Raleigh's factory in Birmingham, England. I am interested in knowing a ball park figure of what this may be worth. Hopefully, the pictures have been attached.

I'm not sure I follow your chronology-- Hercules was in Birmingham. TI already owned Hercules when it bought Raleigh, after which all bicycle manufacturing moved to Nottingham; so if yours says Nottingham, it was made by Raleigh, presumably after 1960. For more precision, there's a date on the rear hub that will tell you when that was made.
Anyway, yours looks very nice!
Depending on location, condition, etc, you can get $100 - $250 for these bikes. But I have seen equally nice ones not selling for $50.

Thank you. You're right. I meant to say the headbadge says "Birmingham." Strangely, there is no date on the rear hub or anywhere else on the bike. However, I determined that the bike was made between 1956 and 1960. I looked at a website that indicated that the model of Sturmey Archer shifter on the handlebar was made after 1956 and I knew all Hercules were made in Nottingham after 1960.
