Please help me identify this bike

I have done hours of research trying to find out more information on this bike. I know all of the basic information including the history of the company and the like. I am looking for more specific information about the bike I have. It is a Miele but I am uncertain of the model or year. Below is a link to someone's site that has the exact same bike as me. This is not my bike per se but it is a picture of the exact bike I have and all of the components and specs listed for the bike are the same. The year is listed as a 1989 but I was told mine was from the mid 90's. The mid 90's may be inaccurate. I am wondering the model and year and perhaps a rough idea of the quality and worth of the bike. Any information would be appreciated. I purchased the bike as a starter road bike and am thinking about spending some time and money fixing it up. The frame will likely have to be stripped and refinished and some of the components (namely the wheelsets) need upgrading. I am mostly wondering if it is worth the time and money to fix it. Please let me know if there is any information I can provide to help in identifying the bike. Thank you for any help and/or information.

Most Mieles were decent bikes, canyou tell us more about your bike ot help us? What kind of tubing, compnents, etc. Yours looks alot like a Miele Lupa I had briefly once, same seatstays, and color.

Thank you for replying. The components are all Shimano 600. I'm not sure about the tubing. What do you mean exactly and what else would you like to know?

on the seattube, just below the top tube, there should be a decal that identified what type of tubing it is, it will say "Columbus Cromor" or "Columbus". It will identify what type of steel tubing they constructed the frame with, and that has alot to do with the quality and value of your bike. Shimano 600 is a dang good start though, very promising.

That decal reads "Chromor" or maybe it said "cromor." Either way it is the first one you wrote. Thanks again.
