Columbus frame with Pantographed fork crowns, can anyone help me ID?
Hello, new here, but I've been lurking for quite some time and would like to say thanks to all for the great discussions in information.
I'm at a total loss with this frameset-it's Columbus tubing and dropouts, but the builder is a mystery. The serial number is on the bottom of the BB shell (54020), it has above BB cable routing, no downtube shifter mounts, top tube cable routing. The BB shell and lugs are pretty standard, but it's the pantographed Columbus dove on the fork crowns that got me-I've never seen this anywhere. The way the frame is built makes me think it's from the 1970's.
I'm about to strip and repaint, but was curious if anyone could help me ID it, and then I could find some appropriate decals. Thanks!columhead..jpgcolumbb..jpgcolumseat..jpgcolumbb2..jpgcolumfork..jpg
