Raleigh Record

60cm, burgundy w/khaki head tube. Taiwan-made, Reynolds 410 lugged.
2x6 friction Suntour on the stem, Suntour FD/RD. Double eyelets for fenders.
Says "sport touring geometry" on the R chain stay.
Weinmann alloy 27x1 1/4" rims w/Raleigh red labels, Raleigh red label hubs.
27x1 1/4" Raleigh gumwall tires.
gaspipe seat post with Raleigh saddle (heron on each side, Raleigh across the back)
44cm alloy bar, engraved Raleigh heron on the R, US flag on the L, foam covered.
Turkey-wing Diacompe brake levers, brake calipers (single pivot side pull)
Sachs-Huret odometer mounted on the R fork, works fine.
SR Custom crankset, looks like 50/38 or so.
Chrome headset, and bb has a label that says "Raleigh Sealed Bearings"
Metal platform pedals with Christophe chrome clips and Christophe black leather straps.

No rust that I can find, no dents, dings. Cleaned up well tonight.
Good condition, maybe better than good.

Can you give me a ballpark?

Yours is bigger than mine.... I have the same bike in a 58cm. In my area (eastern PA hour north of Philly) I was told somewhere around $125-$150ish. I picked the bike up for free and ride when the roads are snowy. It has ZERO chips or rust on it and is a fairly nice rider albeit heavy. Good luck and pics are always fun

I'm jealous of the clips and straps.... mine came w/ cruddy rattraps

Raleigh USA?

+1 $125-150 and take the odometer off and sell it separately.

OK, but it's dirty, and I don't often post a dirty bike.

Yes, not far from New Bern or Havelock.
Is that where you caroused when you were on active duty?
Should I look for evidence of damage?
They closed Poor Tom's. Pity.
I wonder who got the pole?
