Can anyone tell me what model Raleigh this is?
Bought this great bike from a friend the other day and I forgot to ask him what model it is. Any info about the bike will be great!
Thanks,
Sean

Yeah, it's a Team Pro. You big-time scored. Tom conform, check to see if the serial number on the bottom bracket shell starts with SB. It would also be interesting to know if there's a remnant of a tubing decal on the seatmast, but my money's on Reynolds 753. Congratulations!

Yeah it starts with SB, its says SB2605. Is there anything to know about this bike. I got it for $150, how much is it worth? The decals are pretty much all worn away.

At a quick check, your frame appears to be circa 1978. That's one of the real collectibles of the vintage lightweight world.

Really hard to say on the date. I have SB1016 and it seems to date around 78, so maybe later for this one. Really depends on production numbers.
As for value, a complete 753 Team Pro in team colors sold on the Bay a few months ago for around $1150. Bear in mind it was team colors as those seem to command a higher price. A frame went for around $550 not long ago. I did not pay much more than that for my 753 SB1016 three years ago. But that was three years ago and mine is not in team colors.

One other thing. The size is likely stamped on the BB. IIRC, it is CTT as mine is marked 56 and it is 54 C2C.
Hmm....need to look at dates more closely. How did I manage to revive this old post?
