Track bike - Jeunet
Hello all,
I'm hoping to find out anything and everything I can about my new purchase. It's an older track bike from Jeunet. Basic indicators like the fact that there is a front brake hole, and that the decals are stickers and not painted on give me the impression that it was an entry or mid-level bike. It also looks to be of a 70's or 80's vintage - but again I can't be sure.
This is my bike:

This is the same frame (in worse shape but the pictures are clearer) (see pictures here):

As for components, it's a bit of a Frankenstein - I don't think anything would be original except maybe the rims. One crank is a Peugeot, as is the 50t chain-ring (not track specific), the other crank is Japanese. I dunno who makes the cog. The hubs are Maillard, nothing special but smooth rolling. Wheels are nice Ambrosio Elites with Vitorria Georgia 22's...I love them.
Obviously it's the frame and its history that I'm most interested in. Any value quotes are nice, but I really just want to know more.
Also - I'm guessing it's a French threaded BB, but if anyone can confirm (or deny), I'd love to know.
Thanks!
