Vintage Bianchi - Could use some help.
Greetings all.
I just finished cleaning up my mom's old Bianchi frame, and I'm looking to find out its year, model, and possible value.
It's a 58cm frame and to my knowledge it was originally celeste but was repainted the champagne color that you see now. All stickers etc. were removed at that time, so I don't have much to go on.
I'm not sure of it's age, but growing up I don't remember my mom having any other bike. I'm thirty now, so I'd think it was at least 25 years old, and possibly 35.
Ten years ago I pulled it out of storage and got it back to riding condition. (New wheels, rear deraillieur, brake cables.) I rode it for a year or so until the wheels got stolen off of the bike.
Any help would be appreciated.

Bike lost about 3/4 of its value with that repaint. Celeste Bianchis are very desirable.

I adjusted my fraction to 3/4 value lost. It is now best suited to be a really nice personal rider. Around here, a frame like that would bring very little, maybe $50, $75 tops. Given the Suntour, SR, and Sakae components, I am guessing it is one of the Japanese Bianchis. If so, I would put the value at the lower end of my range.
Hopefully, one of the Bianchi experts around here will wade in with a higher value and more information.
