Only if you need it... entry level and likely heavy. Possibly like a truck, good in winter?

On the UO8, depends on condition. Don't you love it when they post a catalog page? As flip material, marginal at best. Ditto the first bike. OK as a grocery getter, not OK as flip material (bottom end MTB). But as cheap transportation, great.

I see you got it for $70, and it is mint condition. Sounds good at that price, and in that condition. My favorite Craigs List ads are the ones with no pictures, poor descriptions, etc.

Here is the wording from a C/L ad I recently picked up, turned out to be a nice catch:
1.1 has a light a bell and rearview mirror light blue
2. blue in good condition
3. is gray has light that runs by a small generator at the wheel.
4.concord mixter 27in

BTW: The rear view mirror was right off a truck, must have weighed ten pounds.

Being French, they have their foibles (unique sizing and threading on many components) and some people dislike working on them for that reason. This tends to hold prices down.

However - if it's in very good cosmetic and rideable condition with new rubber, 100 is very fair.
If you do buy it, I suggest upgrading the rims to alloy (along with the obligatory overhaul you would have to do for any vintage bike.)
The result will be a really worthy C&V bike, and years of bike riding enjoyment.
