Had interest in purchasing this, think it's a beautiful bike, but I'm not sure what the value would be. The listing price is $350. Also, anyone know how to embed?

That's a fantastic bicycle, but I'd have a hard time paying that much money for it. Definitely don't buy it if you plan on reselling it.

I saw that bike as well this morning. Wouldn't hurt checking it out and try to get him down, but personally I wouldn't pay over 200ish

I was thinking the same thing. It'd be different if I needed a bicycle, though.

Hi Whiteflight -

This thread should be moved to the Appraisals forum to get responses.

Looks like an A-D Inter-10. Honestly, in that condition...I'd at least go see it priced at $300...its got all its shimano 600 stuff except the stem and it all looks like its in nice shape...the adjuster screws in the dropouts even look to be in good shape.

I really love mine. Full 531 frame...cool paint job, great ride.

Turned into a 3 speed it was my Velo-De Cheapo entry this year.

Its now awaiting a new wheelset...its getting a 7 speed IGH.

Thanks guys. If I bought it, it would be a keeper. I haven't rode a bicycle in probably a decade now and I want something in fantastic condition that rides well. I just wanted to get some opinions though because I made a mistake buying a bike I bought about 3 weeks ago.

Definitely a late-70's early-80's, and I'm in agreement with ZB about the Inter-10; very nice bikes and great riders. I sold one on fleabay about two months ago that was too small for me for just under $300 plus shipping if that's any help on a market price.

I've got an A-D a couple more steps up the food chain from this era - an '82 Starleicht with all Dura-Ace - but I'd guess that the workmanship, finish quality and rideability of this bike would be comparable. That said, my A-D is far and away the best rider of my herd, which includes a Bob Jackson and a Scapin. And you can't beat that Shimano 600 arabesque for looks.

Depending on the market, $350 is not that far off. It appears to be in beautiful condition. I would not be surprised if it sold somewhere between $300 to $350. Some scrapes of the paint around the dropout. Hopefully that is the limit of it, as that will knock the value down.

I bought an A-D Inter 10 frame in 1978 that I built up as a fast-touring/club riding bike using the Campy Nuovo Record gruppo and sew-up wheels from my old (too big) Raleigh Pro. The Inter 10 frame was full Reynolds 531db with a dark burgundy paint scheme - just like the one in your photos. Mine came with an "Inter 10" decal on the top tube that I subsequently removed - I suspect the same thing happened here. This is a very nice frame for the money and the Shimano 600 stuff was good for its day. Assuming the frame/components are in good shape then it is easily worth $300 to $350 IMHO.

I want to add that the Inter 10 was a bike that screamed "upgrade me" - as I did with pleasing results!

+ 1 .... $350 is about right if you intend to ride it, but it is not flip material at that price.
