Falcon Black Diamond and Fuji Sport-10?
I'm looking to get my first road bike after years of mountain biking and have been reading these forums to try to get a good idea of what to look for. I've found two bikes on CL that seem decent though I wonder about the prices.
The first is a Falcon Black Diamond and it doesn't seem to be in perfect condition but it's pretty cheap. I'm a little wary of the seller since his post isn't really well put together but I'd like to check it out anyways. From what I've read these Black Diamonds are a entry-level bike from a pretty good manufacturer.

The other is a Fuji Sport 10. I've heard Fuji's are nice but these Sport 10's are the absolute bottom of the bin as far as Fuji's go. I'm 99% sure this price is way higher than it should be but I'd like to know what it's worth so I can give him an offer and see how it goes.

Also, I'm 6'4 240 and have been told by the seller that the Sport 10 will fit me fine, but I don't know about the Black Diamond if that helps. Thanks for any help you can give.
Edit: This also just popped up

GO AND GET THAT BLACK DIAMOND!! that guy has no idea what he is talking about. thet looks like a very late '80s Diamond Back road bike which are actually rebranded Centurions (aka Dave Scott)
that is a super deal and if it does not fit you with a little elbow grease you can atleast double your money.

+100 If I was anywhere near Atlanta, I would have that "Black Diamond" in my hands. Its a vintage Diamondback, nice bike.
The other two bikes are crappastic. And your last ad will fit a rider of about 5-7.

OMG! you have been "X-4d" LOL looks like some dope called your seller and told him the bike was worth more. they sure look like the same bike. either that or the flipper that bought it just took off the rack and didn't do anything else.
$60 Falcon black Diamond

$240 Centurion

Yep, same bike, with the rear rack removed. I think this is one of those knock the dust off flips.

And yeah it's a new seller. The guy has been buying a lot of bikes lately and selling them for ridiculous prices after a "tune-up" *cough cough*
Thanks for the replies anyways though! I'll let you know if I ever find anything worth buying...

I have to tell one of the big keys sometimes, like in this particular listing, is simply being able to recignoze something when it is labeled wrong. lots of people likely passed this up thinking Falcon/Fuji no big deal. but once you open the add and see that Diamond Back you need know it is nicer than a Falcon and have to act.
if that bike had been near work or Aron, they would have been in the sellers driveway before he too his hand came off the enter button when he posted it.
