1998 Gary Fisher Big Sur
I'm looking at a 1998 Gary Fisher Big Sur that is stock, but in very good condition. What's it worth?
Thanks for any help.

Not vintage, not classic. My experience with used MTBs is that they have very little value. MTB riders want the latest and greatest. I have sold several really nice MTBs from the mid to late 90s. This is a nice model, depending on condition, $150 to $200 max.

Thanks, wrk101. Sorry if this wasn't an appropriate question for this forum. Based on what you're telling me, though, it sounds like the current owner of the bike holds it a little too dear.

It also depends on how much you want it. It was/is a pretty good bike. Its just that MTBs depreciate really quickly. A new comparable MTB would cost a lot more.
And maybe you are in a hotter market.
And mine is just one opinion, based on quite a bit of data collected in my local market.
