Hey,

I found this bike advertised as a Gios Super Record for €700 (about $900, I think).
Would you advise for or against thinking about buying it? Seems a bit steep to me,
looking at the condition. And there are a few things that don't seem to me to fit for a Super Record.

The guy places a lot of ads on this site, and seems to pass a lot of collectible bikes and
frames through his hands.

Any thoughts or advice? Would you even consider it?

If it had Campagnolo throughout, it would be a deal. This is a later one with the Aero shaped fork blades, not that appealing to me.

Northern European bikes often get put away wet, so this would be a deal where I would want some assurance that it is not suffering from rust. Under the Bottom bracket, will the seat post come out...

I'm not sure where you are in Belgium, but examples in much better condition with fully campy groups seem to go for about the price of that one here in the Netherlands.

For example: asking 750€

or near Mechelen (apparently): 500€-700€

Mathieu - I think the second of those is the same guy. He's selling the €200 fake Gios on both sites too. And you can buy some ducks from him.
