Cinelli Laser: really worth that much?

Just came by this auction of a cinelli Laser frame.

ViewItem&item=270652709420&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:ITThe frameset is really nice and rare, I know. But the condition of the paint isn`t that
great anymore.
There is one bidder for now and the auction is at 5400dollars!!! For this money you get a NOS cinelli bike. No Laser, but a really nice one, incl. components.

What do you think?

It's higher than I would offer, but I can imagine it. The Laser was arguably the first of the sloping top tube areo bicycles and there were only 300 produced. It's a good time to sell, before the recently announced reissue drags down the value of the originals. From a buyer's standpoint, if he grabs it now, he's sure he's getting an original and not a reissue.
