Trek 330

This is actually the right size for me and I have been wanting an indexed Trek for a long time that fits me correctly. Looks to be in great shape as well. Seems like a pretty fair deal, especially if it will make a good rider and potentially a flipper down the road when I want to upgrade it. Thoughts please.

There is the original catalog. It doesn't seem to have 700c tires however judging from the photo, although, this year seems like its in the early years of 700c mandatory wheels? Some help appreciated here guys and gals.

I'd second your assessment. I don't think you can make a lot of $ by upgrading then flipping it unless you have a bunch of parts just lying around looking for a frame but it seems like a good deal for a nice rider. Can't really go wrong at that price as it should be easy to sell for the same amount or more if it doesn't pan out for you.

So are those wheels 700c then? I awaiting a call back from the seller...I will probably offer him $120 if I get around to it. Not really a priority right now, but I would really like to have something of this quality for a nice "weekend rider".

It's my size as well so I would be riding it by now. You can't go wrong with a 531 framed Trek.
+1 if for some reason you decide to sell it it would easily sell for more in my neighborhood when cleaned up. It's only a 6 hour drive to Phoenix, hmmmmmm.

It is certainly worth the asking price for an end-user / rider. In my area, I could probably flip her for another $100 - and since she's my size I'd probably do so just to try out the ride for a while.
It looks like the tubes use presta valves so the wheels are probably 700c.

I really hope this guy calls me back. It would be mine if he did/does. I hate it when no phone number is left! I always make sure to leave my phone number. Man, this would sure be a sweet indexed rider. Something about a "snap"!!, from a DT index shifter against the sound of good old steel just makes me grin from ear to ear.
