In a sane market like St Louis, you should be able to find a bike with alloy wheels, cromoly frame, cotterless three piece crankset for that price.

The pics don't show much but the bike looks like an AO-8.

No - with patience you can do much better than that.

I have an 84 PGN10 sitting in my car that I picked up today for $100. They do come along.
