Red White and Blue fade Trek 2000 with full dura Ace - value?
Red White and Blue fade paint job, aluminum Trek from, I think 89/90?
I can't find the paint scheme on vintage trek site but I've heard of it mentioned.
Moderate condition bike with good cleanable components.
Full Dura Ace group on an alloy frame.
What would a cleaned and tuned, new cables etc model be worth in spring?
I'm not sure if the alloy frames have started to get recognition yet.
$300? $350?
Would this be a good candidate for brifter conversion to sell at $400?

Yeah, I'm tempted by it as a bike I may like for commuting/touring century riding etc. I have a century coming up in March and a good steel frame fits the bill, as would a vintage style build.

Wow, guess I didn't look that far back. Seems too early for aluminum, but i guess that was the fancy new stuff of the time.

Pics or it didn't happen. If you go forward again just bring back a list of who wins the Super Bowl, World Cup Soccer, etc for 2014.
